Step 2: Pop out the folds Pop out the folds in front and back. Push along the dashed lines shown in the illustration. The circled letters show the four crucial areas that need to be popped. TIP: For help on this step, reference the assembly video at www.orukayak.com/assembly WWW.ORUKAYAK.COM...

Step 4: Close the deck Close the buckles on the deck. Buckle and tighten the swallow tail strap located on the stern of the boat. All of the flaps should align and close tightly. You may need to apply some force to fully close the strap, especially when the kayak is new.

Holding the edge of the kayak with one hand, push down along the fold line printed on the kayak to pop in the fold.

WWW.ORUKAYAK.COM Close the kayak and fully tighten the box closure straps. You may put the kayak on its side and use some body pressure to help you close the box. Note: Make sure the center carrying handle is accessible before tightening the box. TIP: Put the kayak on its side and fold the two halves together.
