ABOUT THE PRINTER Thank you for purchasing the Smart-Jet ® One Thermal Inkjet Printer, a product of MSSC LLC, US. This printer is designed for packaging printing applications powered by Thermal Inkjet (TIJ) Technology. The Smart-Jet ® One produces crisp text, logos, variable data and barcodes on porous and non- porous media by automatically recognizing aqueous and solvent inks and applying the appropriate printing parameters.

Disable sensor Disable sensor is a distance between two sensor marks or it’s a product length. The purpose of this setting is to prevent multiple print on one product and make sure at all time only one print on one product only (except in case the user adjusts Repeat Time of sensor mode to other value. See next items for Repeat Times of sensor mode).

External Encoder ENABLE this option to measure the speed using a rotary encoder. To use this option, an encoder must be connected to the controller. If the encoder parameters are inconsistent, it will affect the print quality, so please follow encoder formula (Page 15).

Skew angle Rotate the print to a specific angle. Minimum value is -25 and maximum value is 25. Auto Jet Periodically, pushing out the ink to clean the printhead. This function will prevent the ink dried on nozzle of cartridge, it is useful tool to keep the print quality always good. Click on ENABLE / DISABLE button to change option for this function.

For example, if set to 0, one print will be made. If set to 1, one print will be made and then the print will be repeated once. Continuous mode This mode allows the printer to operate without a sensor. It also allows a sensor to trigger the first print of a production line run.

Auto switch channel ENABLE to automatically change the nozzle side used for printing between ODD and EVEN. Then, enter the number times printing will be made on one side before switching. Range: 1-255. Realtime ENABLE this setting to encode the template and send data to the printheads in real time. The default reset value is 1 second.

Keyboard Select the keyboard input for the Design tool: English (Default), Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, Hungarian, Hebrew, Farsi, Japanese, Korean, Urdu, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Slovak, Thai and Turkish. IO Signal ENABLE this function and adjust the pulse width of response signal after printing is done.
