WARNING
Never hold or depress the auger and drive clutch levers when
operating the starter motor; the machine will start moving
suddenly as the engine starts, possibly resulting in personal
injury.
NOTE: When the speed of the starter motor drops after a period
of time, it is an indication that the battery should be
recharged.
Do not use the starter motor for more than 5 seconds. If
the engine fails to start, release the key, and wait at least
10 seconds before operating the starter motor again.
5. After starting the engine, allow it to idle for a few seconds to warm
up to operating temperature. As the engine stabilizes, gradually
move the throttle lever to the SLOW position.
If the choke knob has been pulled to the CLOSED position to start
the engine, gradually push it to the OPEN position as the engine
warms up. Move the throttle lever to the SLOW position.
