For safety and (CE) licensing reasons, the unauthorised conversion
and/or modification of the ViewCam Camera VC-1026B is not per-
mitted.
When handling products which involve contact with electrical volta-
ges, the applicable VDE regulations and corresponding European
standards must be observed.
Consult a specialist if difficulties arise with the mode of operation,
safety or connection of the ViewCam Camera VC-1026B.
The in-plug power supply may not be plugged in or unplugged
using wet hands.
Never pull on the power supply cable, rather always withdraw the
unit from the power socket by its casing.
When the unit is to be out of use for long periods, remove the
power supply from the power socket.
Exercise especial caution when operating the camera in the
presence of children.

Electrical equipment does not belong in the hands of children.
Never pour liquids over electrical equipment. There is great danger
of fire or life-threatening electric shock. Should this nevertheless
happen, pull the power supply from the power socket at once and
call a specialist for advice.
Ensure the power supply has sufficient ventilation.
Do not subject the camera and connected power supply to high
temperature, humidity, strong vibration, or excessive mechanical
stress.
If the camera is to be installed out of doors or in damp areas or si-
milar, the camera is to be built into an appropriate protective hou-
sing.
Never operate the in-plug power supply out of doors or in damp
areas.
Never operate the units immediately after they have been brought
from a cold into a warm room. The resulting condensation water
could damage the power supply. Leave it unconnected to reach
room temperature. Wait until any condensation has evaporated.
Observe also the safety hints and operating instructions of other
equipment which may be connected to the camera.
Do not leave the packing material lying about unsupervised; pla-
stic foil / bags, expanded polystyrene parts, etc. could become
dangerous playthings for children.
In industrial facilities the accident-prevention regulations of the In-
dustrial Employers' Liability Association for electrical systems and
equipment must be observed.
