In schools, training facilities, hobby and self-help workshops, the
handling of power supplies must be supervised responsibly by
trained personnel.
For power-on work, only tools expressly intended for this should be
used.

Functional description

The ViewCam Camera VC-1026B is intended for monitoring purpo-
ses in security applications, playground, entrance and parking
areas, for relaying images and much more.
Due to its wide temperature range (-10 to +60°C), operation out of
doors is also possible (with the camera built into an appropriate
protective housing).
A connection adapter (mini DIN socket to 2 x phono plugs & low
voltage socket) is supplied for the connection between the camera
and power supply. The phono plugs can be connected directly to
the phono sockets of a TV receiver or monitor; thus direct connec-
tion to a TV receiver with phono sockets is possible.

Putting into service

To guarantee proper commissioning, without fail
read these operating instructions and safety infor-
mation through completely and carefully before
operating!

Installation

No equipment emitting strong
magnetic fields should be near-
by.
A 230 V AC power socket for
the in-plug power supply must
be available close by.
No equipment with strong elec-
trical fields should be near the
ViewCam Camera VC-1026B,
e.g. mobile telephones, radio
transmitters, electric motors,
etc.
Do not drill or screw additional
screws into the casing to fix the
unit.
Note that direct sunlight or
bright lighting, etc. can have a
strong effect on the camera
picture and make observation
of the image difficult.
When selecting the mounting
location of the ViewCam Ca-
mera
VC-1026B,
note
that
strong direct sunlight, vibration,
dust, heat, cold and dampness
must be avoided.
Note
These could negatively affect
the picture quality.
By doing this, dangerous volta-
ges can be contacted.
Bear this in mind when selec-
ting the mounting location.
