CAUTION
Any components removed must be set aside in
groups according to the respective assembly posi-
tion in order to make sure they are subsequently re-
fitted in the right place.
NOTE
Before going ahead with the disassembly of the
engine, gather the appropriate special tools, see 2.3.1
(ENGINE TOOLS).

3.2.1 ENGINE DISASSEMBLY SEQUENCE
NOTE
This diagram shows the operations to be per-
formed and the sequence to be followed when disassem-
bling the engine parts.
In order to remove the parts outlined with short dashes,
(---) the engine must be removed from the frame, see
0.4.1 (VEHICLE WORKSHOP MANUALS).
