Part 2:
The SYSTEM 1 endo Processor provides the Operator with numerous methods
of quality assurance monitoring. Physical monitoring of the liquid chemical
sterilization process is controlled by the Operator, while real-time cycle monitoring
is performed by the microcomputer-controlled Processor.

OPERATOR OBSERVATION
• Sterilant container intact
• Verify expiration date
• Ensure tubing is not crimped
• Chamber fills
• Chamber drains
• Two (2) consecutive rinses
• Complete display/audible tone
• Seal deflates
• Verify sterilant container is empty
• Observe condition of chamber
• Liquid is not present in chamber at end of LCS Cycle
• Verify liquid chemical sterilization parameters
PROCESSOR
OPERATOR OBSERVATION (CYCLE TAPE)
• 45.5 - 60°C
• 175 or greater
• 6 minutes
• Membrane Test for the MaxLife filter PASSED
• System Diagnostic Tests PASSED
