7.0 Overview

7.1 Keypad Function

Start/Stop and Value Adjustment Knob (Start/Stop):

– Press down to Start/Stop a run
– Rotate to increase/decrease the values of time, temperature, speed or g-force
Time: Adjusts run time setting

RPM: Adjusts speed setting

RCF: Adjusts RCF setting

Temp: Adjusts temperature setting

Lid: Opens the lid

Quick: Quick-Spin centrifugation


7.2 Audible Signals

The audible signals are beneficial when you are familiarizing yourself with the operating procedure of the Labnet Prism™ R
refrigerated microcentrifuge. They can also be disabled if desired by pressing the Time button six times. The audible signal function
can be resumed by pressing the Time button six times again.
Definition of the audible sounds:
2 beeps: Power on machine

3 beeps: End of a run

