LASER is an acronym meaning “Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation”. The MCO 25 plus laser (light source) consists of an active medium and an excitation source. This excitation source “pumps” the electrons of the active medium from their normal state into a stimulated energy state (high energy level).
There are numerous possible applications for the MCO 25 plus. Apart from its low penetration depth and precise cutting capabilities, other benefits of the MCO 25 plus in laser surgery are reduced stress for the patient and fast healing process.
Instructions for Use Laser System MCO 25 plus Putting the MCO 25 plus into Operation General Information The device is a microprocessor-controlled continuous-wave CO laser with a maximum laser output of 50 W at the handpiece. The entire system including laser tube, high-voltage supply, closed-circuit water cooling, pilot laser, safety shutter and control interface (control panel) is integrated into one single casing.
