To ensure a proper read of the magnetic stripe, swipe the card smoothly
through the reader in one direction (either to the left or to the right), as shown
in Figure 13.
Using the Magnetic Card Reader
Check the screen for confirmation of a successful transaction.
Hold the card (within 4 cm) or gently tap against the surface of the contactless
antenna, marked by the logo
Conducting a Contactless Transaction
After you tap your card, the LEDs will light up and the buzzer will sound for
about 2 seconds, prompting you to remove your card.
