Troubleshooting

Possible Solution
1. Rotate OFF button head to reset. Replace if at fault.
2. Ensure correct power supply voltage and circuit size.
3. Ensure circuit is free of shorts. Reset circuit breaker or
replace fuse.
4. Correct motor wiring connections (Page 49).
5. Reset. Adjust or replace if at fault.
6. Test/replace if at fault.
7. Adjust centrifugal switch/clean contact points. Replace
either if at fault.
8. Test all legs for power; replace if necessary.
9. Fix broken wires or disconnected/corroded
connections.
10. Replace button.
11. Replace motor.
1. Only cut wood/ensure moisture is below 20% (Page 24).
2. Decrease feed rate/cutting speed.
3. Straighten or replace workpiece/adjust fence
(Page 25).
4. Clean/tension/replace belt (Page 43); ensure pulleys
are aligned (Page 44).
5. Correct motor wiring connections.
6. Tighten/replace loose pulley/shaft (Page 44).
7. Use sharp inserts; reduce feed rate/depth of cut
(Page 25).
8. Clean motor, let cool, and reduce workload.
9. Move machine closer to power supply; use shorter
extension cord (Page 12).
10. Test all legs for power; repair/replace if at fault.
11. Adjust centrifugal switch/clean contact points. Replace
