Drive Away Assist is only an aid. It is not a substi-
tute for your attention to the surroundings. The
responsibility for safe manoeuvring and parking
remains with you. Make sure that no persons, ani-
mals or objects etc. are in the manoeuvring
range.

On uphill gradients, the performance of Drive
Away Assist is restricted.
If transport equipment is secured to the trailer
hitch, such as a trailer or bicycle rack, Drive Away
Assist is not available when you are reversing.

The cross tra c warning can warn you of crossing
tra c when you are exiting a parking space. The
radar sensors in the bumper also monitor the area
adjacent to the vehicle.
The cross tra c warning is active under the fol-
lowing conditions:
