  • Page 5 Archangel Installation Guide Page 5 of 17 If a shower tray is used, preferably position the floor channel a minimum of 10mm inboard of the edge. Insert the 10mm spacer block into the floor channel and use it to align the vertical wall channel.
  • Page 6 Page 6 of 17 Archangel Installation Guide Reposition the vertical wall channel and insert the top and bottom screws to hold it in place. Insert the rubber spacer strip into the floor channel and cut to length. Using suction glass lifters, lift the fixed glass panel into the channels.
  • Page 8 Archangel Installation Guide Page 7 of 17 Disassemble the glass-to-wall brackets, being careful not to damage the faceplates. Ensure the clear plastic gaskets are inserted and wall screw plates facing inward (to the wet side of the shower). Align the brackets centrally to the slots in the glass panel, hold them in place and mark the screw positions for the bracket onto the wall.
  • Page 9 Archangel Installation Guide Page 8of 17 Run a bead o1 silicone along the back face of the wall channel and screw it tightly in place on the wall. Loosely screw the glass-to-wall brackets to the wall. Run a bead of silicone along the base of the floor channel and position it on the tray where marked.
  • Page 10 Archangel Installation Guide Page 9 of 17 Use the 10 mm spacer block to ensure that the floor channel is aligned with the wall channel, push the ends together and tape in position. Remove the 10mm spacer and apply a generous amount of silicone into the corner joint formed by the two channels.
  • Page 11 Archangel Installation Guide Page 10of17 Loosen the hinge cover screws and remove the hinge covers. Unscrew and remove the clamp plates and one clamp gasket from each side of the hinge.(see below). Keep all disassembled parts safe for later use.
  • Page 12 Archangel Installation Guide Page 11of 17 Offer the hinges up to the wet side of the fixed panel. Ensure that all gaskets are in place ensuring that each face of the glass is separated from the hinges by a clamp gasket.
  • Page 13 Archangel Installation Guide Page 12 of 17 IMPORTANT NOTE: The fixed glass seal is to be cut into 3sections to fit to the fixed glass panel above, between and below the hinges. For good sealing, it is important that the individual sections are fitted as close to the hinges as possible.
  • Page 14 Archangel Installation Guide Page 13 of 17 When fitting the glass leaf, ensure that it is the right way up so that its hinge holes align with those of the panel when its top edge is level with the top edge of the Panel.

Ensure that all gaskets are in place ensuring that each face of the glass is separated from the hinges by a gasket. Refit the clamp gasket and clamp plate to the dry side of the glass leaf and attach using 2 x M6 screws.
  • Page 16 Archangel Installation Guide Page 15of 17 Fit the covers to the hinge plates by hooking them over one side of the hinge plates and tightening the grubscrews at the other side. Using a smear of silicone, fit the chromium screw covers provided to the wall bracket screws and the cover plates to the wall screw sections.
