CATV (CABLE TV) connections

Many cable companies offer services permitting reception of extra channels including pay or subscription channels.
T his D V D /V C R ha s a n e xte nde d tuning ra nge and can be tuned to m ost cable channels without using a cable
com pa ny supplie d conve rte r box, e xce pt for those channels which are intentionally scram bled. If you subscribe to
a spe cia l cha nne l which is scra m ble d, you m ust have a descram bler box for proper reception.

To record from converter/descram bler,
D V D /V C R tuner m ust be tuned to the

conve rte r m ust be se t to the vide o
channel output of the D V D /V C R (either
