Problem
The indicator
(26)
is illuminated although
dishwasher salt has
been added.
The water is not
running or it is running
only very slowly.
The appliance is not
sealed.
The appliance can be
switched on/off, but
cannot be operated.

The dishwashing results are not satisfactory

Problem
There are residues or
streaks on the dishes.
Possible cause
The dishwasher salt is
clumpy.
There is a kink in the inlet
hose.
The water tap is not properly
on.
The filters are blocked.
The outlet hose (28) is
kinked, has been extended
or is hanging too high up/too
low.
The appliance door seal is
defective.
The outlet hose or the inlet
hose is defective.
The appliance can be
operated only when the door
is closed.
Possible cause
The rinse aid is incorrectly
dosed.
The dishwasher salt is
depleted.
The dishwasher salt is
clumpy.
Troubleshooting table
Solution
Stir the dishwasher salt using the
end of a spoon or similar.
Arrange the inlet hose properly so
that it is not kinked (please see
"Connect the inlet hose" on page
EN-30).
Turn the water tap on completely.
Clean the filters (38) (see
"Checking and cleaning the filters"
on page EN-26).
Lay out the outlet hose in a proper
manner (see page EN-29).
Have the appliance door seal
replaced (see "Service" on page
EN-40).
Have the defective hose replaced
(see "Service" on page EN-40).
Close the door of the appliance.
Solution
Adjust the dispensed dose (see
"Changing the rinse aid dose" on
page EN-14).
Add dishwasher salt (see "Adding
dishwasher salt" on page EN-15).
Stir the dishwasher salt using the
end of a spoon or similar.
