Safe operation of this tool requires that you read and understand this operator’s manual and all the labels affixed to the tool.

    ELECTRICAL INFORMATION (CHARGER) DOUBLE-INSULATED CHARGER The charger’s electrical system is double-insulated where two systems of insulation are provided. This eliminates the need for the usual three-wire grounded power cord. Double-insulated tools do not need to be grounded, nor should a means for grounding be added to the product. All exposed metal parts are isolated from the internal metal components with protecting insulation.

    TOOL PURPOSE Easily sand drywall with your WEN 20V Cordless Drywall Sander. Refer to the following diagrams to become famil- iarized with all the parts and controls of your drywall sander. The components will be referred to later in the manual for assembly and operation instructions.

    MAINTENANCE REPLACING THE SANDING PAD Fig. 7 Insert the included hex wrench into the hexagonal screw (Fig. 7 - 1) located in the center of the hook and loop sanding pad. Hold the pad firmly while turning the wrench to unscrew the center hex screw. Replace the pad (part DW5062-003).
