UNPACKING & PACKING LIST UNPACKING With the help of a friend or trustworthy foe, such as one of your in-laws, carefully remove the belt and disc sander from the packaging and place it on a sturdy, flat surface. Make sure to take out all contents and accessories. Do not discard the packaging until everything is removed.
TOOL PURPOSE Sand, smooth, and remove jagged edges with your WEN Belt and Disc Sander. Refer to the following diagrams to become familiarized with all the parts and controls of your belt and disc sander. The components will be referred to later in the manual for assembly and operation instructions.

Before using, check to make sure parts are not damaged, missing, or worn. Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, improper mounting, or any other conditions that may affect the sander operation.
