B2. Welding to a steel structure:
The base of the anchorage point must be welded, either peripherally or as indicated in Fig.
B1. The installer shall be responsible for the proper welding operation, prevention against
corrosion and, when needed, ensure watertightness of the roof. The stainless steel base is
of a grade of 316, A4.
B3. Bolting onto the Supporting Structure
The bolt-on base of the SÖLL TOTEM DURAHOIST POST MILLER must be
fastened using eight M12 pins and M12 nylstop locknuts and washers suitable for
a steel supporting structure, as indicated in Fig. B2.
M12 pins can be welded to the base or screwed into the latter. The installer shall
be responsible for preventing corrosion and, when needed, for ensuring the
watertightness of the roof.
