  • Page 44 Date: March 11th 2004 Reason: To ensure reliability when all valve option is fitted to XONE:V6; especially when used in US with 60Hz mains frequency. Details of change: Assy 003-057, AG4918 issue 2 The bridge rectifier that powers the valve heater cct needs uprating to ensure reliability when the all valve option is fitted to the V6.
  • Page 45 ECN 998 XONE:V6 PSU IEC Mains Filter with Nutserts ECN No: Assembly No(s): 003-057, iss.2 on Date: March 29 2004 Reason: To improve assembly of IEC to Chassis. Details of change: The IEC Mains Filter AL3458 now has nutserts, eliminating the need to fit two nyloc nuts (AB0102), and two screws (AB0078).
  • Page 46 Xone V6 Power supply Technical Bulletin Andy Rigby-Jones 18/12/03 Reason There has been an instance of a supply failing with a fully loaded system (All Valve Option, EQ unit and Crossfader), due to failure of the low voltage bridge rectifier. We have evaluated this and though the current draw is still within the specification of the device, feel that it would be prudent to fit a heavier duty rectifier to any mixer that is fitted with an all valve option.
  • Page 47 Xone V6 Power supply Technical Bulletin Andy Rigby-Jones 18/12/03 PSU Dismantling Ensure that the power supply is disconnected from the mains supply before removing the top cover. You will require a Torx T10 driver. The cover is removed by unscrewing the six M3 Taptite screws (taptite screws are different to the others so keep them separate) on the top face, and the two M3 x 6 screws on either end.
  • Page 48 Xone V6 Power supply Technical Bulletin Andy Rigby-Jones 18/12/03 Unsolder the old component BR2 and carefully remove from the PCB. As the lead spacing is wider on the up-rated part the legs need to be formed as illustrated: And as the lead diameter is bigger the PCB mounting holes will require re-drilling to 1.2mm.
