3.3 Install Interface Sub Card Components (Optional)
If the installed router contains RM2B-4G interface sub card, the USIM card and 4G
antenna need to be installed. This chapter takes the installation of RM2B-4G as an
example to describe the installation method of USIM card and 4G antenna.
3.3.1 Install USIM Card
The diagram of the USIM card is as follows:
The specific position of USIM slot of RM2B-4G interface sub card on board card is as
follows:
When installing the USIM card, operate according to the following steps:
Step 1: Unplug the RM2B-4G interface daughter card from the router. Refer to "6.1 Replace
interface daughter card" for the method of pulling out interface daughter card.
Step 2: Determine the position of the USIM slot on the board card according to the figure above.
Step 3: Push the buckle horizontally in the direction of the OPEN arrow to move the buckle
about 2mm. At this time, the buckle will be loose and slightly spring up, and the buckle
can be turned over manually.
