Accessibility

The Accessibility menu lets you enable and manage accessibility-related features.
► From the Idle screen, press the Center soft key
Settings > Accessibility to open the Accessibility screen.

Readout

Readout allows you to hear voice prompts and spoken numbers or key names as you press a
key, and also to hear menus and options, Contacts names, email addresses, URLs, etc., as you
highlight each item on-screen. (The default setting is Off.)
To turn on Readout:
1. From the Accessibility screen, select Readout.
2. Highlight On and press the Center soft key
Note: When the media volume is set to Off, Voice readout does not work.

Speech rate

You can adjust the rate at which on-screen text is spoken by the phone.
1. From the Accessibility screen, select Speech rate.
2. Highlight Slow, Normal, or Fast, and then press the Center soft key

Speech pitch

You can adjust the pitch at which on-screen text is spoken by the phone.
1. From the Accessibility screen, select Speech pitch.
2. Highlight Very low, Low, Normal, High, or Very high, and then press the Center soft
key
[Set].

Font size

Adjust the font size on the screen. This setting does not affect all screens.
1. From the Accessibility screen, select Font size.
2. Highlight Normal, Large, or MagniFont, and then press the Center soft key
