Remove the data cartridge from
the slot and close the dust cover.
• When the TAPE MOTION LED is lit or blinking, do not turn off the basic processing unit. This
may cause a malfunction or damage data.
• To avoid malfunction, do not transport this unit with the data cartridge installed.
• Eject the data cartridge when you are done performing a backup.

LED indication

Three LED on the Built-In AIT's front side signal the status of the drive and the AIT data
cartridge.

: 0.9 s ON, 0.3 s OFF

To read/write the data from/to the AIT data cartridge, see the instruction manual provided
with the backup application.
CLEANING REQUEST
Built-In AIT does not
need cleaning.
Built-In AIT needs
