7.7.1 Hazard identification
Due to risk of fire or explosion the batteries shall not be short-circuited,
recharged, punctured, incinerated, crushed, immersed, forcibly discharged
or exposed to temperatures above the declared operating temperature
range of the product. The Lithium batteries in this EPIRB are sealed units
which are not hazardous when used according to the recommendations of
the manufacturer. Under normal conditions of use, the batteries are
hermetically sealed.

Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with
soap and water.
Immediately flush eyes thoroughly with water for at
least 15 minutes, lifting upper and lower lids, until no
evidence of the chemical remains. Seek medical
attention.
