last reset (see date).

Updating the software via USB flash drive
The software is updated using a USB flash drive. The USB flash drive must be formatted with the FAT32 file sys-
tem.
When updating the software, the following data is stored in the internal memory of the A/C service unit:
• The current software of the A/C service unit
• The current database with all the common vehicle types and corresponding filling quantities
You can update the software and the database separately.
1. Copy the current software to the USB flash drive.
2. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port.
3. Switch on the device.
The A/C service unit scans the USB flash drive for a later version. If the software on the USB flash drive is more
up-to-date, the following menu is displayed:
New firmware release
found
ENTER upgrade STOP EXIT
AS5k0058
If the database on the USB flash drive is more up-to-date, the following menu is displayed:
New database release
found
ENTER upgrade STOP EXIT

The current version is displayed in black on the bottom line.
