The samples centrifuged with the EBA 270 can be used directly in in-vitro diagnostic tests. Therefore, the EBA 270 centrifuge as an in-vitro diagnostic accessory is in its turn an in-vitro diagnostic medical device according to the in vitro diagnostic medical devices regulation (EU) 2017/746. -

Installation and removal of the rotor After every fifth removal of the rotor or when installing a new rotor, the fastening nut must be exchanged. Clean the motor shaft (C) and the rotor drilling (A), and lightly grease the motor shaft afterwards. -

14.3 Short-time centrifugation Set the desired speed with the keys beneath the speed indicator. Keep the key pressed. The rotation indicator appears while the rotor is turning. The time count starts PULSE from 0. The first minute is counted up in seconds, and then the time is displayed in minutes. When the time is displayed in minutes, a point flashes next to the number. -

Emergency release The lid cannot be opened during power failure. An emergency release has to be executed by hand. For emergency release disconnect the centrifuge from the mains. Open the lid only during rotor standstill. Only the plastic release pin provided may be used for emergency release. See figure on page 2. -

After removing the radioactive contaminants, remove agent residue by rinsing with water (only outside of the centrifuge) or wipe off with a damp cloth. -
