    NRG 50 Maintenance - Fit the new air filter - Refit the plastic closing ring of the box. - Insert the filter box into the rubber holder. - Replace the spark plug access panel. Spark plug Place the vehicle on its central stand - Remove the central cover.
  • Page 34 NRG 50 Maintenance - Unscrew the spark plug using a suitable wrench. -Examine the condition of the spark plug, check that the insulating material is not word and meas- ure the distance between the electrodes using a feeler gauge. If any defects are found, replace the spark plug with a new component of the specified type.

    NRG 50 Maintenance - Unscrew the oil drainage plug and drain out all the oil. - Replace the copper sealing gasket with a new one. - Screw in the drainage cap again and fill the hub with the prescribed oil.

CAUTION BRAKE FLUID IS HYGROSCOPIC; THAT IS, IT ABSORBS MOISTURE FROM THE SURROUNDING AIR. IF THE CON- TENT OF MOISTURE IN THE BRAKE FLUID EXCEEDS A CERTAIN VALUE, BRAKING WILL BE INEFFICIENT.

If the vehicle is not used for some time (1 month or more) the battery needs to be recharged periodically.

    NRG 50 Electrical system Fuses The electrical system is protected by two main fuses located near the battery: one 15A fuse «1» and one 7.5A fuse «2». To reach it, the battery compartment cover must be removed as indicated in the «Battery» section.

    NRG 50 Electrical system Sealed battery If the vehicle is provided with a sealed battery, the only maintenance required is the check of its charge and recharging, if necessary. These operations should be carried out before delivering the vehicle, and on a six-month basis while the vehicle is stored in open circuit.

Remove the adhesive sheet closing cells and proceed as quick- ly as possible to run the subsequent activation phases. 2) Electrolyte preparation. Remove the container of the electrolyte from the pack.
