Troubleshooting

Regarding the indicator lamps

The meanings of the lighting patterns of the POWER indicator, the LAMP
indicator, and the TEMP indicator are described in the table below. Please follow
the instructions within the table. If the same indication is displayed after trying
the solutions below, or if an indication other than the following appears, please
contact your dealer or service company.

and then try the suggested solution, referring to the

The lamp will not light, and there is a possibility that
interior of the projector has overheated.
Please turn the power off, and allow the projector to cool
down for at least 20 minutes. After the projector has
cooled down sufficiently, please confirm the following

items, and then turn the power on again.

• Is there blockage of the air passage aperture?
• Is the air filter dirty?
• Does the peripheral temperature exceed 35°C?
If the same indication is displayed after trying the
solutions above, please change the lamp according to the
directions in "Lamp" (56, 57).
