Related messages
When the projector is turned on, the following messages may be displayed. When
any such message is displayed on the screen, please follow the instructions
described below. If the same message is displayed after trying the solutions
below, or if a message other than the following appears, please contact your
dealer or service company.
Although these messages will be automatically disappear after several minutes,
they will reappear every time the power is turned on.

REMINDER

FILTER MAINTENANCE IS ESSENTIAL
TO REMOVE WARNING MESSAGE,
RESET FILTER TIMER.

There is no input signal.
Please confirm the input signal connection, and the status
of the signal source.
The horizontal or vertical wavelength of the input signal
is out of the response parameter range of this projector.
Please confirm the specs for the projector and the signal
source specs.
The internal temperature is high.
Please turn the power off, and allow the projector to cool
down for at least 20 minutes. After confirming the following
items, please turn the power on again.
• Is there blockage of the air passage aperture?
• Is the air filter dirty?
• Does the peripheral temperature exceed 35°C?
If the same indication is displayed after trying the solutions
above, please set the FAN SPEED of the SERVICE item in
the OPTION menu to HIGH (54).
A note of precaution when cleaning the air filter.
Please immediately turn the power off, and clean or change
the air filter, according to the directions in "Air filter" (58).
After you have cleaned or changed the air filter, please be
sure to reset the FILTER TIME (53).
