Each switch comes with one 500 W alternating-current (AC) power supply. All
models have two power supply slots, enabling you to install a second power
supply for redundancy.
The power supplies are hot-swappable and can be swapped in or out of the device
while the device is running. You can remove and insert a power supply without
opening the chassis. A single power supply provides enough power for the entire
system.

AC power supplies

The slot for an optional second power supply is covered by a cover plate. To
provide redundancy, the optional second power supply can be ordered.
