Downgrading the firmware version

You may need to downgrade the firmware version of your camera. To do so, complete the
steps that follow.

Possibly no video after camera restart
If you must downgrade the firmware version of your camera from 8.40.0029 to 8.12.0005 or
an older version, then the camera may show no video after the re-start.
Complete the steps that follow to make sure that the camera will show video after you reboot
the camera.

Note: If you do not complete this step, then you must reset configuration in order to bring the
camera back to the proper operating status. A factory default reset is not required.

Download the appropriate version of the firmware from
downloadstore.boschsecurity.com.
Complete the steps in Service > Maintenance to load the firmware.
Go to Camera > Installer Menu > Sensor mode.
Select 30 fps as the video frame rate.
Click Reboot device.
