When doing multiple dives and if the hood is taken on and off, ensure that the hood's outer seal is
pushed past the mask skirt before donning.
Depending on water conditions, the MOD-1 hood can be left in place when performing post dive
cleaning and inspection. When doing multiple dives for multiple days, it is recommended that the
hood be removed and inspected at least every seven days.
