i) Turn on Drooping Control - The Drooping Control Enable and Drooping Control
Amount are essentially a switch to turn on the function. It is recommended that the
Drooping Control Amount be set to 5.
ii) Turn on Stall Protection - Stall Protection must be turned on, the amount set and then
turned off. The current level determines the level of regenerative torque at which the
speed is advanced. The current level minimum value is 10% and signifies the starting
point or '0' torque. That is, if the value of Stall Protection Current Level is set to 15%,
speed will be advanced when the inverter senses 5% regenerative torque. If set to 20%,
the speed will be advanced at 10% of regenerative torque. Setting Stall Protection
Current Level above 20% may cause overvoltage tripping. A setting of 10% or less
will result in unstable operation.

2) Super User Programming **
i) Activate the Overhauling Load Software. Access Super user mode by following the steps in
Additional Programming. Use care to follow the instructions exactly. The steps are 1) press
LOCAL/REMOTE key and release, 2) press the READ/WRITE key and release, 3) press the
READ/WRITE and hold while pressing LOCAL/REMOTE. Release.
ii) Address 03AF activates the regeneration software. If the response time of the system is not
fast enough with the value of E5, the value can be changed. The value can range from E7 to
E0. E0 is the fastest response time, E7 is the slowest. Recommend starting at E5 for first test.
iii) Adjust 03AF as necessary to achieve desired performance.
