draining the pump. Make sure that
the escaping liquid does not cause
injury to persons.

the pump. Make sure that the escaping
liquid does not cause damage to the
motor or other components.
Drain pumps which are not being used during
periods of frost to avoid damage.
To drain the pump loosen the vent screw in the
pump head and remove all drain plugs from one
side of the pump base.
Do not tighten the vent screw and replace the
drain plug until the pump is to be used again.
