Reinstalling the Windows 95/98 Driver
If at any time you need to reinstall the Windows 95/98 driver,
follow these steps:
Remove the "Proxim RangeLAN2 7100 ISA Adapter"
entry from Control Panel / Network icon.
Restart the computer.
Reinstall the driver following the above instructions.
Reset the required networking parameters in Control
Panel / Network (such as an IP address).
Reset the RangeLAN2 configuration parameters in
Control Panel / Network or from within the
RangeLAN2 Site Survey & Configuration Tool.
Installing the Windows 2000 Driver & Tools
The RangeLAN2 7100 ISA adapter is not a plug and play device.
Once the hardware is installed, it will not be automatically de-
tected by Windows 2000.
Follow these steps to install the RangeLAN2 Windows 2000
driver:
1.
With the computer turned off, install the RangeLAN2 ISA
Card and antenna as described in Chapter 2.
2.
Turn on the computer and logon to Windows 2000.
3.
Insert the RangeLAN2 Windows 2000 driver diskette into
the computer's disk drive.
