    Use only a soft, clean, dry cloth for cleaning. These suggestions apply equally to your device, or any of its attachments or accessories. If your device is not working properly, take it to the nearest Verifone- authorized service provider for servicing or replacement.

    Ensure that you are swiping cards properly. With the card reader, the black magnetic stripe should face down. NOTE The UX301 reads the card upon card removal or withdrawal from the slot. • If possible, process a transaction manually, using an external keypad, instead of the card reader.
