Important safety information
You must follow common safety guidelines when using electrical products, especially
in the presence of small children.
WARNING! To avoid electric shock or damage due to heat, always make sure the plug
is pulled out before the heater is moved or cleaned
- Read these instructions carefully.
- The product is intended for household use only.
- Make sure the heater is connected to the house's regular mains (230 V), as indicated
on the heater.
- New heaters will produce a specific odour when first used. This will stop after a short
time and is completely harmless.
- Ensure no pieces from the packaging have fallen into the heating elements of the
unit. Any pieces must be removed to avoid unpleasant smells.
- Do not cover the unit to prevent overheating.
- Always turn off and unplug the unit when finished using.
- Small children must be supervised when near the unit.
- Do not place the heater directly below an electrical socket outlet.
- Do not run the cord under any type of carpet, rug or furniture. Keep the cord out of
congested areas where it cannot be tripped over.
- If the heater, its cord or plug is damaged in any way, do not use the unit.
- To avoid hazards, cords and plugs must be repaired by the manufacturer or qualified
personnel.
- Avoid using extension cords – they could overheat and cause a fire hazard.
- Never cover the air vents on the heater. Avoid potential fire hazards by making sure
the air intakes are not blocked or covered. Use the heater on flat and even floors.
- Never use or store the heater near gasoline, paint or other flammable substances.
- The heater is approved for use in zone 2 bathrooms.
- Never touch an electric heater with wet hands.
- The heater becomes hot during use – do not touch to avoid injury.
- Before moving the heater, switch off and unplug the unit, ensuring it has completely
cooled down.
- Avoid overloading the mains (the circuit) where the heater is connected. The heater
may overload the electrical circuit if other electrical devices are plugged into the
same socket outlet.
- The device cannot be used by children under eight years of age and persons with
reduced physical or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they
have been given supervision or instruction in the safe use of the device and
understand the hazards involved.
- Children should not play with the device.
- Children under the age of three should be kept away from the device unless they are
under constant supervision.
- Children aged between 3-8 years are only permitted to turn the device on/off,
assuming the device is mounted according to the assembly instructions and the
children have received instruction or supervision in the safe use of the device and
understand the hazards involved.
