To troubleshoot connection issues with the Wacom Cintiq 21UX:

1. Ensure the Cintiq’s power light is on and glowing blue.
2. Open System Profiler (macOS) from Applications > Utilities, then check the USB section under Hardware to see if the tablet is detected.
3. If the tablet is not found, check the USB cable connection or try a different USB port.
4. If the issue persists, open Disk Utility (macOS) from Applications > Utilities and run Repair Disk Permissions from the First Aid tab.
5. If problems continue, contact Wacom Technical Support.

If the issue involves Inkwell (handwriting recognition on macOS), removing damaged preference files may help.
