Management (PASM)
B
PASM is a system for the active adjustment of
C
shock absorbers. The variable shock absorber
D
system individually selects the relevant shock ab-
sorber stiffness for each wheel depending on the
E
driving situation and driving conditions. Driving
safety, agility, and comfort are optimized.
F
Three different chassis setups can be selected at
G
the push of a button:
H
– "Normal"
– "PASM Sport"
I
– "PASM Sport Plus"
J
Comfort mode ensures comfortable chassis tun-
K
ing. The "PASM Sport" chassis setup offers sporty
shock absorber tuning. "PASM Sport Plus" mode
L
offers particularly sporty shock absorber tuning
(e.g. for race circuit driving). Apart from the man-
M
ual mode selection, the PASM also adjusts the
N
shock absorber setting toward more sporty or
more comfortable depending on the driving
O
situation.
