2.1 Preliminary notes
• Prior to installation, ensure that the local distribution conditions
(nature of the gas and gas pressure) and the adjustment of the device
are compatible.
• The adjustment conditions for this device are stated on the label (or
data plate).
• This device is not connected to a combustion products evacuation
device. It shall be installed and connected with current installation reg-
ulations. Particular attention shall be given to the relevant require-
ments regarding ventilation.
• Installation must conform with local codes or in the absence of local
codes, with the American National Standard for Recreational Vehicles,
ANSI/NFPA 1192 and the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
In Canada, installation must conform with CSA Z240.4.2-M.
2.2 General safety
