    PARTS DESCRIPTION PART NAME DESCRIPTION Electric motor & The motor is used to power the pump. The electric motor has a air compressor thermal overload protector. If the motor overheats for any reason, pump the thermal overload will cut off power, thus preventing the motor from being damaged.

  • Page 6 Personal Safety • Eye protection which conforms to ANSI specifications and provides protection against flying particles both from the FRONT and SIDE should ALWAYS be worn by the operator and others in the work area when loading, operating, or servicing this tool. Eye protection is required to guard against flying fasteners and debris, which could cause severe eye injury.

Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel may result in a risk of injury. • Disconnect the power supply, open the drain valve to decompress the tank and allow water to drain, and allow the air compressor to become cool to the touch before servicing.

Following this rule will reduce the risk of serious injury. • Protect your lungs. Wear a face or dust mask if the operation is dusty.     OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Applications Air compressors are utilized in a variety of air system applications. Match hoses, connectors, air tools, and accessories to the capabilities of the air compressor. You may use this tool for purposes listed below: • Operating air powered tools requiring less than 4.0 SCFM @ 90 PSI.
