Construction Standards

Boston Whaler
is dedicated to creating a superior
®
product which will provide comfort, performance,
safety and dependability. All of our boats comply
with the safety standards set by the United States
Coast Guard and are designed, engineered and manu-
factured in accordance with applicable recommenda-
tions and guidelines of the American Boat and Yacht
Council (A.B.Y.C.) and certified by the
Marine Manufacturers Association (N.M.M.A.).

Our Hull

Boston Whaler
hulls are constructed with our
®
patented Unibond™ construction process. This
involves foam injection into a closed mold system
where the foam expands to fill all voids in the hull.
When the finished product is pulled from the mold,
the hull and deck are chemically bonded to form a
solid, inseparable unit.

Hull Identification Number

The "Hull Identification Number" is located on the
starboard side of the transom.
This is the most important identifying factor and
must be included in all correspondence related to
your vessel. Also of vital importance are the engine
serial numbers, part numbers, etc. when writing about
or ordering parts for your engine.
