File Type

The File Type screen is used to select how the picture file is saved, in a FlashPix
or JPG (default setting) format. Select a format that is compatible with the
software you use on your computer.
To set the file type:
To reset: the File Type setting is maintained until another setting is selected. This
setting does not change when the camera is turned off.

Set the Mode dial to Preferences.

Turn the camera on.
The LCD displays the Preferences screen.

Press a
button until the File Type
icon is highlighted on the second
Preferences screen.

Press the DO-IT button.
The LCD displays the main File Type screen.
The current setting is checked ( ü ).

Press a
button until the appropriate
option is highlighted.

Press the DO-IT button.
The main Preferences screen reappears.
