1.- Assemble the scarifying tips (Shoes) (1) on the
shank (2). Secure them with a pressure pin (3).

2.- Assemble the shank and scarifier tip assembly
onto the subsoiler body support brackets (4). Insert
the bolt (5) through the front hole of the shank (2),
secure with the lock washer (6) and nut (7). Install
through the shank hole the bolt (8) and secure it
with the lock washer (9) and nut (10). Tighten the
bolts according to the torques indicated in the bolt
5
tightening specifications table on page 36.
4.- Subsoiler body.
5.- 5/8 x 3-1/2 grade 5 hex bolt.
6.- 5/8" lock washer.
7.- 5/8" nut.
8.- Hex. bolt 3/4 x 3-1/2 grade 5.
9.- 3/4" lock washer.
10.- 3/4" nut.
