    Network Video Recorder User Manual Chapter 1 Introduction 1.1 IR Remote Control Operations The device may also be controlled with the included IR remote control, shown in Figure 1-1. Batteries (2×AAA) must be installed before operation. The IR remote is set at the factory to control the device (using default Device ID# 255) without any additional steps.

    Network Video Recorder User Manual Chapter 2 Getting Started 2.1 Start up the Device Purpose: Proper startup and shutdown procedures are crucial to expanding the life of the device. Before you start: Check that the voltage of the extra power supply is the same with the device’s requirement, and the ground connection is working properly.

And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system, resetting the password monthly or weekly can better protect your product.
