3. Roll the trackball and press Set to anchor the first peak point, measuring Vel1.
4. Roll the trackball and press Set to anchor the second peak point, measuring
Vel2, calculating RI.
5. Roll the trackball and press Set to begin a new RI measurement. You can
measure a maximum of eight groups of data. The outcome will be displayed
in the measurement result window.
6. Press Caliper to finish and exit.
To measure velocities and pressure difference of two peak points on the Doppler
wave, and calculate Pulsatility Index(PI):
PI(no unit) = ︱(PS-ED) / TAMAX︱
TAMAX: Time Averaged Maximum Velocity
1. Press Caliper to activate a measurement cursor "+".

2. Roll the trackball to highlight PI and press Set and a "+" is displayed.

3. Roll the trackball and press Set to anchor the start point. Roll the trackball to
trace along the Doppler wave forward, or press Backspace to erase the trace
backward.
4. Press Set to anchor the end point; the system displays the results of PS, ED,
RI, PI, etc. in measurement result window.
5. Roll the trackball and press Set to begin a new PI measurement. You can
measure a maximum of eight groups of data. The outcome will be displayed
in the measurement result window.
6. Press Caliper to finish and exit.
To measure flow volume:
1. Roll the trackball to highlight Flow Volume, select Area and press Set.
2. Roll the trackball and press Set to anchor the start point of vascular diameter
in B image
3. Press Set to anchor the end point of the vascular diameter, the system displays

the results.

4. Roll the trackball to highlight Flow Volume, select TAMEAN and press Set.
5. Roll the trackball and press Set to anchor the start point of TAMEAN in PW
image.
6. Press Set to anchor the end point of TAMEAN, the system calculate the
average flow volume between the two points and displays the results.
