Setting Folder Exclusions with Anti-virus Software

Some files the imaging system uses can be recognized as viruses by anti-virus
software. For this reason, you must set a folder exclusion before starting the PC
system.
For Green X / X18, exclude the following paths and software from the virus scan:
C:\Program Files\Vatech
C:\VCaptureSW
To set folder exclusions:
1. Open the McAfee anti-virus program and select the VirusScan.
2. Right-click the On-Access Scan menu option and left-click the Properties tab.
3. Select the All Processes → Detection → Exclusions menu option and click
Add.
4. Search for all folders and files you want to exclude from the virus scan. When
adding them to the exclusion, click the checkbox "Also Exclude Subfolders."
Click OK and exit McAfee.

Run the scan when the equipment is not active.
