Operation

1 Open tubing clamp.
Switch on humidification module and set value for humidity.
Changing water bags
Destilled water bag empty = "Water supply low" alarm triggered
on incubator.
1 Close tubing clamp.
2 Exchange water bag and open tubing clamp again
Care
WARNING !
Danger of hot water burn injuries!
After switching incubator off, wait 30 minutes before
disassembly to allow water remaining in water heater
to cool off.
1 Close tubing clamp
3 Pull hose from top side nipple of controller unit and and
empty remaining water from controller and heater into a
container.
Dispose of infusion kit including water bag.
4 Pull water level controller from nipple on water heater.
Clean surface of controller with damp cloth and detergent.
Take care not to allow liquids or soiling to enter the
controller.
Sterilize the assembled water level controller at 273 °F
(134 °C).
Properly dispose of water level controller unit after 6 months.

Troubleshooting

Faults/ Messages
Water leaking from top end of hose.
Incubator 8000 SC/IC/NC:
Red LED H O blinking,
2
blinking display for set value of humidity,
intermittent audible alarm.

Do not immerse water level controller into disin-
fectant solution. Residual disinfectant would be
vaporized by the water heating unit during
subsequent use - potentially harmful for patient.

Clogged valve in water level
controller.
Tubing camp closed.
Kinked or pinched tubing.
Empty water bag.
