3.2.2 ANTENNA INSTALLATION CONSIDERATION
Installation Location Requirement
Locate donor antenna in a site to receive the
maximum signals from the desired BTS and to
shield the other signals at the same time
Line of sight between BTS antenna and donor
antenna is required
Isolation of BTS antenna and mobile antenna
(I) must be larger than the maximum gain of
the repeater in operation

Considerations
Ample space on mounting wall surface (recommended
to reserve 0.8m x 0.8m x 0.8m) for unrestricted airflow
and cable routing. After installation of the repeater, the
lower end of the chassis, where is the exit of cables,
should be 1.2 m higher than the ground
Power cord length is 3m (10 ft), use a dedicated AC
breaker or fuse circuit, and with good access to an
earthing point
Do not locate near large transformers or motors that
may cause electromagnetic interference
Reduce of signal loss in feeder cable
-20° C to 40° C, Maximum 85% relative humidity.
Avoid direct sun exposure and keep good air cooling
environment
