Repair Material Authorization (RMA) should be completed giving the required information. A sample RMA form is provided in Appendix D. This request must be included with the item for repair, items for repair should be sent to the nearest Comba office: COMBA TELECOM LTD.

The MCU is used to monitor and control the operation of the repeater and provides the communication interface for remote control and indicator. LED indicators (H1~H3 or L1~L4) indicate the respective operation status. There are two MCUs in the RD-7843, one for GSM unit and another for WCDMA unit. Power Supply Unit (PSU): The PSU converts the input voltage into a stable DC to provide power to the functional modules.

Temporary protection should be taken when the equipment enclosure is opened for installation or maintenance in an outdoor environment. INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR RD-7843 3.3.5 WALL MOUNTING DETAILS The following describes the mounting of equipment to a wall. Drill four holes on the wall using the position of four holes on the mounting rack as a guide. Fix the mounting rack to the wall using four masonry bolts (M10x110mm).
3.3.7 DRIP-LOOP Comba recommends that every horizontal cable entry to the equipment forms a 'U' before its entry to the equipment. Water on the cable will drip down at the bottom of the loop and will not accumulate at the equipment connectors.

Table 14: Alarms diagnosis 6 MAINTENANCE The RD-7843 repeater offers trouble free operation and generally does not need maintenance. The equipment operation status can be observed remotely through OMC. Periodic inspection of the repeater equipment(s) is recommended, the recommended tasks includes: Inspect and record operation status and output power of the repeater from OMC or OMT.
