The cover can be removed without tools. • Small size, light weight and easy to install. Refer to the following figure for the the front, side and back views of the SP-1910: Figure 1: Top, front and side views of the enclosure End of Section...
2 EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION 2.1 THE SP-1910 FUNCTIONAL DIAGRAM Figure 2: SP-1910 functional diagram (built-in antenna used) As shown in the above figure, in the downlink direction, BTS signals are received by donor antenna (connected with DT port and located outdoor). After the duplexer, the signals are sent to LNA for pre- amplification, to DL Band Module afterwards to achieve the required output power and reject the unwanted signal.
Figure 3: Equipment internal layout 2.3 EQUIPMENT CONSTITUTION The SP-1910 system consists of the following: Removeable front cover: The equipment is also shipped with a small cover to protect the LEDs (RSSI, RUN and ALARM). A simple latch keeps the cover securely in place.
INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR SP-1910 2.4 KITS OF PARTS For each SP-1910, the following are shipped: Product Identifier Description Quantity ST4x30 Self - tapping Screw Φ6 Wall Plug RS-211PICO SMA-SMA jumper cable for use with external antenna GFP241DA-0638 DC Power Supply Unit (AC-DC power adapter)
INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR SP-1910 2.5 GENERAL APPLICATION 2.5.1 USING BUILT-IN ANTENNA Built-in antenna is applicable for small-scale rooms. This system is supplied with Built-in antenna already connected, which means the input signals can be transmitted without using external mobile antenna.

INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR SP-1910 To realize extended coverage using external antennas, users need to make some adjustment to the equipment internal structure. The preparation for use with external antenna is desribed as below: • Remove the front cover by disengaging the latch located at the bottom of the equipment.
INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR SP-1910 3 INSTALLATION 3.1 WARNINGS AND ALERTS Radio Frequency energies There may be situations, particularly the workplace environments adjacent to high-powered RF sources, where recommended limits for safe exposure of human beings to RF energy could be exceeded. In such cases, restrictive measures or actions may be necessary to ensure the safe use of RF energy.
Cable routing The RF cables for the SP-1910 are terminated with connectors; other cables connect the equipment with the external PSU. Ensure cables are supported where necessary and secured so that they are not damaged.
Open and check each package against the packing list. If any items are missing, contact Comba. Do not remove items from antistatic packing until installation. If damage is discovered at the time of installation, contact the shipping agent.
3.3.4 DRIP-LOOP Comba recommends that every horizontal cable entry to the equipment forms a 'U' before its entry to the equipment. Water on the cable will drip down at the bottom of the loop and will not accumulate at the equipment connectors.
INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR SP-1910 3.4 EQUIPMENT CONNECTIONS The equipment has been designed for all cable entries from the top of the unit. Figure 10: Equipment connectors Service voltage connection The equipment accepts mains voltage via the AC-DC power adapter. The recommended DC connection is rated at 6VDC and the cable length is around 1.5m.
INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR SP-1910 4 COMMISSIONING 4.1 MCU LED INDICATORS On the front panel, there is a removable cover, beneath which are five diagnostic LEDs. There indications are described in the following table separately: Identifier Color Indication RSSI Green RSSI indicator which indicates the input field strength.
